Description
Commonly called Spiny lobsters, they can be found all throughout the Caribbean Sea, the Southeastern states of the U.S. as far south as Brazil. Best known for their mild, slightly sweet and firm texture offering a great source of lean protein, selenium and vitamin B12 with a 3.5oz serving typically containing 18 grams of protein, 95 calories, and only 1 gram of fat. This species is best prepared by boiling, steaming, grilling, broiling or baking. Thaw lobster tails in the refrigerator overnight.
